Who qualifies
- Recognised Startup Odisha entity
- Monthly allowance is Rs 20,000, or Rs 22,000 if a founder is a woman, transgender, or from SC/ST/SEBC/PH
- The product development grant needs equity financing of at least Rs 25 lakh, OR a central/state government grant of at least Rs 5 lakh, OR a revenue run rate of Rs 2.5 lakh a month over the last six months
- Bills and utilisation reports may be required

What to know
Corrected 2026-09-20: we led with the Rs 20,000 monthly allowance and buried the bigger benefit under 'further assistance'. Product development and marketing assistance runs to Rs 15 lakh, or Rs 16 lakh if a founder is a woman, transgender or from SC/ST/SEBC/PH - about six times the annual allowance - and carries its own eligibility gate. The enhanced Rs 22,000 allowance rate was also missing. Every Indian state runs something like this; if you are not in Odisha, search your own state's startup policy.
